Pushups, against me.

Put your phone on the floor, do a set, and your reps go into one pool with everyone else’s. That pool is on the left. I’m on the right.

Your phone is the judge.Lean it against something on the floor, facing you, about a forearm’s length in front of your head. It needs to see both shoulders and your arms. Then start, get into a plank, and go.
01 · FLOORPhone on the floor in front of you, leaning back, screen towards you. Head-on is easiest; side-on from further off works too.
02 · FULL REPSShoulders have to travel — down and all the way back — and your arms have to bend. Half reps and bobbing don’t count, for you or for me.
03 · STOPPress stop, or just get up: after twenty seconds of stillness the set files itself and joins the pool.

The counting happens on your phone. The camera’s video never leaves it — nothing is recorded, uploaded or seen by anyone. What gets sent is a number: how many reps, and how long the set took. No name, no account, nothing about you or your device. A count made on your own phone could be faked, and the pool is bounded accordingly; it is a game, not an audit. My side is counted by the same code, on my own phone.
